I have always loved mixing prints and colours, but think it can either be so right or oh so wrong. British designer Emma Cook is a prime of example of how mixing prints can work, marrying check with hearts in such an effortless and subtle way. If Santa were visiting again soon, an Emma Cook dress would be top of my list! The polka dot and floral number is definitely my favourite, and I’m debating snapping up this similar Topshop frock to fill the Emma Cook void in my wardrobe.
