It feels like forever since I haven’t had to put a jacket on in England, hurray for the sun finally showing it’s little yellow face! I do love a good jacket to finish off a simple monochrome outfit like this one though, so this Miss Selfridge dress/makeshift waistcoat it the perfect lightweight alternative. I seem to wear quite a lot of monochrome because it’s such an easy throw-on-and-go combination, so more summery hues like these berry lilac and pink ones are a must-have if I want to look at least a little grateful for the sun!
