Polka-Dot Palazzos, Two Ways: Part 1

Trousers: Primark// Leather Jacket: Topshop// Top: Matalan// Boots: Pull&Bear// Hat: Asos
Skinny ankle-grazers and tapered cigarette styles are my usual go-to trousers of choice, so these wide-leg trousers are definitely out of my comfort zone, but I’m sucker for a polka-dot print! When I picked these pajama-esque babies up in Primark, it was one of those moments when your fashion-obsessed mind runs away with you and you think “ooh I can style them with this and this and this…”, so here I am doing a ‘One-piece Two-ways’ piece because my indecisive ways got the better of me yet again.
This first look carries a bit of a boho-vibe and although I wanted to channel more a day-time look with flat shoes, my 5ft 4″ height just wouldn’t allow it! So cut-out heeled boots it was. I’m a huge fan of mixing vintage-style prints with more contemporary pieces, so this Topshop ‘Ultimate Faux Leather Biker’ jacket was just the thing to add a little modern-day hint, and I have to confirm, it really IS the ultimate biker! A gorgeous texture, cropped with lovely lapels; it’s a sartorial triple threat.
Keep a look out for my second Palazzo post!
