Dress: Miss Selfridge/ Jacket: Zara/ Scarf: New Look via Asos/ Boots: Very

Denim denim denim, is there anything else on the high street at the moment? All I seem to want to wear at the moment is some form of the blue wonder, whether it’s a dress, skinny jeans, flares or a pencil skirt. And, I’m holding the sudden surge of the 1970s trend fully responsible! I’ve been wearing that Miss Selfridge dress (which you’re probably sick of seeing now) at least once a week, and have been mixing up the accompanying garments.

My lovely and super stylish auntie gave me this Zara burgundy faux leather jacket as she didn’t want it anymore, and it’s barely left my shoulders since (seriously, I think I’m addicted). It’s definitely a love or hate piece and has gained a few remarks/names, my favourite being “Matrix jacket”, but I’m loving wearing it with this dress and a skinny scarf for a super seventies vibe. The seventies are an era I never thought I’d be into, but I’m head over heels for it so far!
