Necklace: Dorothy Perkins
One of my favourite things about dressing in autumn is the colour palette. Rich jewel colours paired with basic blacks and greys basically sums up my autumn/winter wardrobe! I recently bought this burgundy fedora from H&M, and paired it with my emerald ankle boots for a jewel tone accented outfit. The hat originally came with an Aztec patterned ribbon which I took off because I thought looked a little summery for this season and I much prefer it plain and simple.
I usually buy black or grey coats to avoid clashes with my outfits underneath. This year I thought I would branch out from my cowardly coat collection, and this checked coat from Asos is the perfect addition. Not too bold but not too subtle and in a gorgeous brushed wool, it’s perfect for the horrid weather we currently have here in the UK! My outfit underneath is quite simple with a grey jumper bought last year and tweed shorts with flecks of silver, pink and green. I went through a phase of having this pastel pink, blue and silver necklace from Dorothy Perkins surgically attached to my neck because it is so versatile…but I’m not as clingy anymore.
What’s your favourite part about dressing in autumn?
