Whenever I pop something in my online shopping basket, I always ask myself “do I need it?”. But let’s be honest, the answer differs a heck of a lot from “do I want it?”, which wins 99% of the time. And that’s exactly what happened when I spotted these very Alexa Chung-esque pointed pretties on Asos. I have a couple of pairs of silver shoes in my shoe-drobe already, so it was clearly a bit fat no to whether or not I needed them. But lo and behold, the metallic loving devil on my shoulder (yes, I’m blaming him) persuaded me and they were in my little silver shoe family the next day!
I wore this outfit to a family Christening last week and it will definitely be a go-to outfit for me this Spring. I topped it off with my Zara faux leather coat and really wish I’d included it in the photographs too because it gave a little edge. Hindsight hey?!
